It is our aim to:
- ensure all our pupils make the best possible progress and achieve their learning potential.
- protect and promote the inclusivity of our children into all aspects of the life of the school.
- ensure that parents are informed of their child’s additional needs and that effective communication between school and parents/carers are valued.
-to ensure that pupils have the opportunity to express their views about their needs.
-to work in co-operation and productive partnerships with the LA and outside agencies to ensure a multi-professional approach to meeting the needs of all learners.
- ensure support for pupils with medical conditions in order that they gain full inclusion in school activities.
We look carefully at the educational, emotional and social needs of individual children and then assess how to meet these needs having regard to the SEND Code of Practice 0 – 25 (2014) on the Identification and Assessment of Special Educational Needs.
